Mario here with another Modern Warfare 4 update.
This time, we have some VERY important news! We have been given images (thanks to CharlieIntel) that shows posters that shops have been given announcing the next Call of Duty title. However, these posters were covered with tabs so we do not have any fully-confirmed information yet. But, it is likely the new title is NOT going to be Modern Warfare 4. It seems that it is almost definitely going to be:
Call of Duty: Ghosts!
Hopefully no-one takes this title the wrong way and thinks that Activision suddenly came up with a game about ghosts. But, we have a title, and with the title comes a possible release date for a bunch of stuff!
First of all, the first official trailer for Ghosts should go up on April 30th, or the last day of April, before the posters are fully revealed. The game also has a possible release date on the FIRST Tuesday of November. This is odd as all of the past Call of Duty games have been released on the SECOND Tuesday, but apparently not this one.
As far as the consoles it will be released on, and if Ghosts IS the new title, then Xbox 360 and PS3 have been confirmed. However, the PS4 and Xbox 720 titles haven't been revealed, nor anything for the WiiU or other consoles.
Now onto the game mechanics. There are 2 things that are being noted mostly, and that is that there will be dynamic entries to maps and a new 'dolphin-dive' replacement. First, the dynamic entries. It is rumored that instead of the normal spawn-in screen where you just spawn on one side of the map, players will have to climb through a window or dive out of a helicopter in order to get into the map. The other one, the dolphin dive replacement, is known to be sliding on your knees and firing, which is pretty awesome! However, there are rumors about how Infinity Ward plan to nerf this, and the most common one that I've found is that you won't be able to aim down the sights whilst doing the sliding motion.
